Programme for Cooperation in Science between Portugal and Poland
Call for joint project proposals 2022/2023
General Informations

FCT and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange hereby launch a call for joint project proposals from Portuguese and Polish research teams, for the 2022-2023 period, between 20th May and 16th July, for exchanging researchers within the framework of joint research projects.

The funding is intended, strictly, for the mobility of researchers participating in the projects: Travel of Portuguese researchers to Poland and stay of Polish researchers in Portugal (the amount foreseen for each project will be of 2000 € / year). The non-inclusion of young researchers in the Portuguese team is eliminatory (see FAQ’s). It is mandatory to present the work plan of the young researchers. Priority will be given to new projects / new teams and to teams that have not had funding in the last competitions.

The two implementing bodies of this Agreement will carry out the respective evaluation and selection of the projects to be financed. Applications that are not submitted simultaneously to the executing agencies of the two countries will not be considered.

Funding for the 2nd year of the project is dependent on the submission and approval of a technical / financial report (available form on the FCT website). to be sent to the technician accompanying the program, by the end of November 2022.

Applications must be prepared jointly by the researchers in charge of the two countries and submitted to the implementing bodies of the Agreement. Thus, the Portuguese team must send their application to FCT and the foreign team to the body of their country.
